I just happen to catch a new Christmas special that aired on NBC. I'm sure that some of you have probably seen it by now. It's based on the popular 2003 Will Ferrell movie Elf, but in a stop-motion animated song filled hour-long special. So I won't need to explain the plot. The one thing that I'm surprised about it is that the actors who were in the movie don't reprise their roles, with the exception of Ed Asner as Santa Claus. But hearing both Jim Parsons (as Buddy) and Mark Hamill (as Walter) singing is kinda exciting!
This is the second newest Holiday special that I have seen this year with How Murray Saved Christmas.
I should do a list of my favourite Holiday specials...

A New Arana Series
*This is a follow-up to something I wrote two years ago (you can find it below). Following that, a lot of interesting developments happened, including Anya's going back to Araña in a story (written by Alex Segura and illustrated by Caio Majado and Brian Reber) in the Edge of Spider-Verse mini-series, and my thoughts have changed. This also contains spoilers for the first issue of Edge of Spider-Verse (2022). Anya Corazon's new Araña costume. Design by Humberto Ramos. As I'll be covering a few key story elements that may be used, I think that the most important thing that I want for a possible Araña series is it should have an urban fantasy/magic realism setting, slice of life tied with a bigger mythlogy, and some action. Maybe it could also lean into her magical origin and her powers. New Look, Same Old Araña In addition of her going back as Araña, it was hinted that Anya was getting back her original powers. Madame Web told her that her powers were changing, returning to

As a first look at the San Diego Comic-Con, here's the theme song for the series. The series is set to premiere on August 12 on Disney Channel. The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe (new series) Coming soon to
CN is Making Live-Action Content (again)
A few days ago, Cartoon Network announced that they were going to produce live-action comedies and dramas for their female viewers. Their reason for doing this? "Girls often graduate out of animation." My Thoughts on Anya's Return as Arana
Earlier this week, Polygon annouced that Marvel is going to launch in August an Edge of the Spider-Verse limited series by Dan Slott and more. This series will set the stage for the final Spider-Verse story, End of the Spider-Verse, coming later this year. And in a surprising twist, the variant cover for the first issue not only revealed Anya Corazon in a new costume, but that also she is going back as Araña and with a new status quo! Edge of the Spider-Verse #1, Variant cover by Humberto Ramos This is something that I never expected to happen, but I'm so happy that it did! Anya Corazon is one of my favorite spider-heroes in the Spider-Verse. She had an unique look that made her stand out from the rest of the Spider-Family. Unfortunately, her "transition" from Araña to Spider-Girl made her lose what was unique about her and she ended up being just another generic spider-hero. She would even get pushed to the background in the last decade as Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen made their
